Wanderlust Wednesday: Cabo San Lucas

Ever since I watched The Heartbreak Kid, with Ben Stiller, Malin Akerman, and Michelle Monaghan, and saw the beautiful resort that they stayed in at Cabo San Lucas, I have wanted to go there. In the movie, they stay at Esperanza, an Auberge Resorts Collection. The beaches and the cliffside dining area alone were enough to tug at my wanderlust heartstrings. Wanderlust Wednesday: Grand Canyon and Beyond

Growing up in West Texas, I fell in love with the wide open spaces that the West is known for, which is one reason why I have major wanderlust for places near and far. Every summer, my family and I would travel through New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, and Wyoming to visit my grandparents. I especially find Christmas in Paris particularly beautiful! Christmas in London isn’t half bad either! I […]

Florida has some beautiful beaches and great vacation destinations, one of those being Daytona Beach. Located on the Atlantic side of Florida, Daytona is the home of the Daytona International Speedway and plays host to Daytona Bike Week and the Daytona Turkey Run Car Show and Swap Meet. My husband and I recently vacationed in Daytona Beach for the Thanksgiving holidays. We actually left the Friday before and drove down, stopping in Albany for the night, before heading to the Moultrie (Ga.) Car Corral and Swap Meet on Saturday morning. We ended staying almost all day and purchasing a blue […]
