What I’m Listening to Now

When I’m writing, whether I’m writing on this blog or working on a short story or a script, I have to have music or the TV going on in the background. Sometimes when I hear a particular song, I can tell someone exactly where I was and what I was doing when that song was playing.

Or there are songs that evoke a certain memory and I think, “Wow, this song belongs on the soundtrack of my life!”

Then there are those songs that just make me move, and by move, I mean tap my foot, shake my booty, clap my hands, snap my fingers, chair dance, whatever… And it’s even better when I actually know the words because I end up singing the song at the top of my lungs!

For instance, right now I am tuned to the MC (Music Choice) Hit List channel on my local Comcast network. Right now,  “Little Talks”, by Of Monsters And Men, is playing… a great song, if you ask me.

I love music, almost as much as I love movies. And music in movies? Well, that’s just like drizzling yummy chocolate on a brownie!

Some songs, when played during a movie, can make that particular scene memorable for the viewer.

So what are some of the songs you are listening to right now? I would love to hear from you… maybe expand my listening repertoire!

Have a great day!
