Wanderlust Wednesday: Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a stunning city. The bustling, colorful city streets… the history and the architecture… the lively food scene… the city as a whole would be an exciting addition to everyone’s bucket list.

I’d like to visit Ocean Park (pictured below), the Arch Moon Tower, the “Big Buddha” at Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island (pictured below), The Wisdom Path, and the Pavilion of Absolute Perfection at Nan Lian Garden.

The cemeteries (pictured above, bottom left corner) are unique and would be a must-see for me. The Hong Kong skyline is beautiful, but I’ve read that it is even more stunning at night. I’d also like to see the Temple Street Night Market, the Yuen Po Bird Garden and the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery in Sha Tin.

The Guiddo travel guide has compiled a quick guide for traveling Hong Kong (below). I hope it comes in handy for you if you are planning a trip to Hong Kong.
