Happy New Years! I always try {but sometimes fail} to stay up and watch the ball drop in Times Square in New York City. By the time you read this, you will also have celebrated New Year’s in your own way, with family and/or friends, with a fancy cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice. You will have watched fireworks light up the midnight sky, turned to your love and planted a big kiss on their lips, and sang the New Year’s Eve Song, “Auld Lang Syne”.
Well, I’m a bit of a home-body, so yes, I watched the celebration from my home here in East Tennessee. But that doesn’t stop me from getting excited about seeing other countries celebrate the New Year!
I love Australia, even though I’ve never been there. Happy New Year’s Australia!

Dubai is another beautiful place and their fireworks display on New Year’s Eve is amazing!

Aahhh! Paris! I would love to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Paris, watching the fireworks light up the Eiffel Tower! Stunning!

Watching the fireworks light up the sky above Big Ben looks spectacular! Wishing my blogger friends overseas a Happy New Year!

WOW! Do you just love this view of Europe as they celebrate the New Year? Here’s wishing peace, light and love all across Europe, and a Happy New Year!

Thousands upon thousands of families will welcome 2017 in either Disney World {in Florida} or Disneyland {in California}.

Even though it is officially 1/1/2017, I thought these New Year traditions from around the world were interesting.

And if you celebrated NYE in the United States, then you may have watched or attended a party near one of these top seven New Year’s Eve destinations. After watching football ALL DAY LONG, I watched the ball drop in Times Square in New York City!

So Happy New Years everyone! May you thoughtfully reflect on 2016 and look forward to every day that 2017 has to offer you!
