Woman of Style: Gal Gadot

I have always loved Wonder Woman, especially when Lynda Carter portrayed her back the mid-to-late 1970s. This generation will get to know Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, a.k.a. Wonder Woman. Not only does she have beauty and grace, but she has wonderful style. This is why she is this month’s “Woman of Style.”

A few weeks ago, I watched Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and was struck by Gal Gadot’s beauty. I knew I had seen her somewhere before, and then it hit me. She is the stunning Gisele in Fast & Furious.

This Israeli beauty has modelesque looks, but she also trains hard so she can do her own stunts. “There aren’t enough good roles for strong women. I wish we had more female writers. Most of the female characters you see in films today are “the poor heartbroken girl”. That’s why I’m so proud of the Fast movies. I feel like Gisele is an empowering woman.” (Source: IMDb)

She was also in action-comedy Keeping Up with the Joneses, with Jon Hamm, Isla Fisher, and Zach Galifianakis.  Not only is she beautiful, but she also has a fun side. She seems so down to earth, as evident from her Instagram feed.

I did my two year military service, I was brought up in a very Jewish, Israeli family environment, so of course my heritage is very important to me. I want people to have a good impression of Israel. She was born in Israel to a Jewish family. In 2004, she was crowned Miss Israel and went on to represent Israel in the 2004 Miss Universe beauty pageant.
