Links I Love: April 2017

Links I Love

Over the past month, I’ve read some really good blog posts from other bloggers. Today on the blog, I’m sharing ten of those links with you. From a yummy strawberry-glazed gluten-free donut recipe and documentaries that will change the way you think to cool IKEA DIY hacks and using supplements to naturally balance your hormones, these are the links I love this month!

  1. Kourtney Kardashian’s Gluten-Free Donuts, via Brit & Co.
These donuts look delish! I’d gobble these up in a heartbeat, especially with this tasty strawberry glaze! My husband is allergic to almonds, so I’d have to find a substitute for the almond flour, but I could made the glaze for pancakes or biscuits.
  2. Blogging: Tips for Beginners, via Thirteen Thoughts.
Even though I’ve been blogging since 2012, I’m always on the lookout for blogging tips. Paula with Thirteen Thoughts, collected several links to other blogging tips, including ways to drive traffic to your blog and how to increase your pageviews.
  3. 22 Documentaries That Will Change the Way You Think, via The Edit featuring Because I’m Addicted.
The Edit put together a collection of posts from three bloggers that wrote about powerful documentaries that will make you think. Keep a box of Kleenex close by in case one or two of these documentaries are tear-jerkers.
  4. VB x Target, via Brit & Co.
I went to Target last Sunday when Victoria Beckham’s collection debuted at Target. I love the bunny details on the collars and all the bright colors. I also love that she created this collection to include plus size gals, like myself. I took these photos at my local Target Superstore (in Turkey Creek in Farragut, Tenn.). She even has {adult} coloring books! Stay tuned for a future “dress form outfit” featuring the cute VBxTarget outfit I bought!
  5. 8 ways I’m selfish, for me, via McKenna Bleu.
I like McKenna, even though I’ve never met her. I think we could be friends. And I love how honest she is about her life, especially like she was in this post. She brought out some good points about how to be selfish, just for you.
  6. How to Use Supplements to Balance Your Hormones Naturally, via My Domaine.
I just recently jumped on the pellet therapy bandwagon to get my hot flashes under control. And guess what! It works! But I also like using supplements to help balance other hormonal issues going on in my body, especially those for acne {probiotics}, weight gain {Omega-3 and Omega-6}, and fatigue {adaptogens}.
  7. 9 Stunning IKEA Hacks Before + After, via Poppytalk.
I have only been in IKEA once or twice in my life. I love seeing all the IKEA hacks on Pinterest, and I really liked these great hacks, especially the DIY Farmhouse Wardrobe.
  8. Wishlist Wednesday: Target Shoes, via Something Good.
It’s not Wednesday, but I have to say that I also love the shoe section in Target. The sneakers, sandals, and heels on sale at Target are adorable! I actually have my eyes on a couple of pairs or sandals {these and these, seen below} and a couple of pair of sneakers {these and these, seen below}.
  9. Tripping: The Complete Guide to Paris, France, via Lauren Conrad.
Selena from Find Us Lost shared her travel guide to Paris on Lauren Conrad’s website, and she featured some beautiful dresses from Paper Crowns, a collection designed by Lauren Conrad herself.
  10. My Monthly Edit, via Penny Pincher Fashion.
Every month, Kimberly of PPF shares some of her great finds. This month she shared several things that I also love – round purses, stacking rings, cute slip-on espadrilles, and a purifying brush cleanser from IT cosmetics (available at Ulta for $18).

Is there a blog you think I need to check out? Or are you a blogger and would like to have one of your blogs featured in my “Links I Love”? Then leave a link to it in the comments section below and I may include it in one of my “Links I Love”. If you liked this blog post, then you may also like last month’s Links I Love.

Yours Truly,
Vanessa
