Dress Form Outfit: That’s a Wrap Too

“Fashion is what you buy. Style is what you do with it.” I love styling my vintage dress form, especially after I featured a particular fashion style, like the iconic wrap dress, in a previous blog post.

Today’s blog post was inspired by blog post a week or so ago about the iconic wrap dress. I’ve styled my B. Moss wrap dress with my Gorjana silver double necklace (which came in one of my FabFitFun boxes), and my Aldo black wedge sandals.

So this B. Moss wrap dress is so old, but still in great condition. It was given to me by a friend of my when I was in college, so I’ve had it for over 20 years. And yes, I still wear it.

I love wrap dresses, because they are so stylish, yet so comfortable. It is said that Diane Von Furstenberg first created the iconic wrap dress, and her dresses are so beautiful. Not only is DVF a wonderfully talented fashion designer, but she is an author. Her memoir, The Woman I Wanted To Be, came out in 2014, and she writes about and shares her philosophies on aging, style, and inner confidence. I haven’t read the entire book, but I recently read an excerpt on Vogue online.

Do you love wearing wrap dresses? How do you like to style your wrap dress?

Yours Truly,
Vanessa
