That’s a Wrap

There are certain pieces of clothing in my wardrobe that I absolutely love, and one of those is my wrap dress. It is is a mix of femininity and sexiness. The wrap dress accentuates the body with flattering cuts and demure styles while showing just the right amount of cleavage and leg.

The most iconic wrap dresses are designed by Diane von Furstenberg. In 1974, a 26-year-old Diane created the iconic wrap dress. It’s a dress made of often colorful and elaborately patterned jersey material that wraps around the body, crosses at the chest and cinches at the waist. Diane has designed many beautiful and iconic dresses, including the wrap dress.

The wrap dress can be dressed up or dressed down. You can pair it high heels, boots, wedge sandals, or white sneakers. Top it with a denim jacket or a fitted blazer. Layer on a few strands of pearls or keep it simple with a dainty necklace. Wear the classic knee length wrap dress, a wrap maxi dress, or wear a wrap maxi dress as a duster jacket over a pair of skinny jeans and a body suit. The possibilities of a wrap dress are endlessly stylish.
