I guess Brad Pitt is going to start calling me again, now that he and Angelina Jolie are divorcing! I’m just kidding… But seriously, I was a little shocked at the news that they were divorcing, but not that shocked. The way I see it, their personal relationship probably mirrored, to some extent, that of their characters in Mr. & Mrs. Smith or By The Sea.
Regardless of the state of their marriage, they had some really great moments. Instead of tearing this couple apart, why not celebrate their unity and the magical moments that made us believe in them as a loving couple and parents to a brood of six. Let’s take a look at some of them.

Again, I’m sorry to see the demise of this marriage. In fact, I hate to see any celebrity couple announce their split and/or divorce. It’s hard enough to keep a marriage together for us non-celebrity types, but the pressure for celebrities is much, much greater. Often, celebrities have so much at stake, including children, pets, properties, and more. But they live their lives, which include their marriage(s) and divorce(s), in the public eye, under such scrutiny from media and gossip rags all the way down to your average people, like myself. It’s heart-breaking, not only for the couple involved but for their entire families.
