The Emmys were held on Sunday night and for me, it was all about the FASHION! Yeah, some people won awards and other people presented the awards, but for me it was all about the FASHION, FASHION, FASHION!!! Of course, there were some fashion fails, but I’m not going to focus on those. This week I decided that instead of focusing on one “woman of style”, I’m going to focus on several “women of style” by featuring the looks I loved from the Emmys.
I love the black and reds, as worn by Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey), Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live), and Kirsten Dunst (Fargo, Midnight Special). These three ladies really stepped up their fashion game to level 11.
I love the soft blush tone dress worn by Giuliana Rancic (E! News, Fashion Police), and I love the edginess that the black belt with pearls gives the pastel blue dress worn by Hannah Murray (Game of Thrones). I’ve loved Jane Krakowski (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) since her Ally McBeal days, and she looks stunning in this thigh-high split dress.
Viola Davis (How to Get Away With Murder) looks so beautiful in this fuschia-colored dress with lace front detail. Even Constance Zimmer (UnREAL), with her page-boy bob, looks elegant in this hot pink and white dress. Yara Shahidi (Black-ish) looks so grown up in this stunning white dress.
Kristen Bell (House of Lies, Bad Moms) looks beautiful in this low-cut floral dress, and both her hair and makeup are on point. Olivia Culpo (Miss Universe 2012) looks so elegant in her strapless dress. And Priyanka Chopra (Quantico) was simply breathtaking in this elegant red stunner.
Not a lot of people liked Sarah Hyland’s (Modern Family) outfit, but I thought it was original and the detail on the bodice and “wings” were so beautiful. Tina Fey (30 Rock, Sisters) knocked it out of the park with this beautiful emerald green dress, with matching earrings and ring. And Traci Ellen Ross (Black-ish) is so beautiful in this white dress with peek-a-boo side slit.
