Jobs I Want To Try Some Day

Let me start today’s post by saying that I enjoy my job as a Registered Medical Assistant. I enjoy those I work with, and I enjoy the job in general. That being said, I still think of myself as that awkward 20-something fresh out of college with hopes and dreams of having this job or that job, but mostly I dream about being a publish and paid writer/blogger. Now with that being said, here is a list of a few of the jobs I’d like to try someday… 1)      Actress… My husband says I’m a drama queen. I have been known […]

Fabulous and Over 40

Now that I’m in my 40s, I tend to find myself drawn to actresses over 40. They have a maturity, yet a young and playful side to them, that I find appealing and down-to-earth. Wendi McClendon-Covey. Like the quote says, “Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.” And I believe that because I like what I do gives me the freedom […]

When I Grow Up…

You can ask my mother about this, but when I was younger, I would always say that I wanted to be the next Barbara Walters. I would pretend I was a television newswoman, staring at my reflection in the microwave oven door, reading the news stories I had written. Then when I was about 16 years old, I began writing. I may have strayed from my original path as a writer from time to time, mainly because school and life got in the way. A couple of years ago, my passion for writing was reignited and I began a blog… […]
