This is My Year: Unboxing the FabFitFun Winter Box

A couple of days ago, I received my FabFitFun Winter 2016 box in the mail. I grabbed it up and ran to my dressing room. I turned the box over and over, just admiring the exterior design of this season’s box. Next, I opened the box because I was eager to see what goodies it held for me! And I wasn’t disappointed, because “this is my year!” {*Disclosure: I am a FabFitFun Affiliate, which means if you order from my blog posts, I receive a small commission. #fffaffiliate #fffpartner} I actually received an email from FabFitFun, giving me a sneak peak of […]

Ask Yourself: Does This Spark Joy?

On Sunday morning, as I was putting away my laundry, I realized that my dresser drawers were over-stuffed and unorganized. So what did I do? I asked myself: “Does this cluttered mess spark joy?” My answer was a resounding “NO!” So I pulled everything from my drawers and used the KonMari Method to fold and organize my clothes. There are no “before” photos, but here are the “after” photos of three of my dresser drawers. Dressing for the Holidays

Dressing for the holidays doesn’t always mean ugly sweaters or fancy party dresses. If you’re going out for dinner with friends, you could pair a simple dress with a brightly colored cardigan. I purchased the necklace and rings {along with a power gemstone bracelet, and then received the chevron tribal arrow cuff as a gift} from the gorjana booth, back in August while attending the BlogHer #16 conference […]

The Best Gifts for the Carrie Bradshaws in Your Life – Amy Lee […]

Add Some Sparkle to Your Wardrobe

A few years ago, I bought my first sequined mini-skirt. I had it hanging in my closet for a while before I actually pulled it out last year and wore it for the first time to my office Christmas party. I honestly don’t know why I never wore it before and don’t know why I don’t wear more sequins. I love how they add a little bit of sparkle to my wardrobe! This sequined dress {below} is sold out, but Forever 21 has some great {inexpensive} sequined outfits, from shift dresses and tunics to bomber jackets and capes. Looking to add sequins […]
