Dressing for the Holidays

Dressing for the holidays doesn’t always mean ugly sweaters or fancy party dresses. If you’re going out for dinner with friends, you could pair a simple dress with a brightly colored cardigan. But for me, having a few beautiful statement pieces can make the outfit even more special.

Today’s dress form outfit is as much about the accessories {jewelry} as it is about the outfit. I purchased the necklace and rings {along with a power gemstone bracelet, and then received the chevron tribal arrow cuff as a gift} from the gorjana booth, back in August while attending the BlogHer #16 conference in Los Angeles. The black dress is Mossimo from Target. The green cardigan is Faded Glory from Wal-Mart. The heels are Nine West.

As I said the accessories make this outfit complete. Since it is the holidays, I like to reach for my Chanel nail polish in Rouge Essential. All of the jewelry is gorjana – Laguna adjustable necklace, Chevron tribal arrow cuff, and shimmer bar ring to midi connector. I just love that this jewelry line has so many delicate pieces. I also love that you can layer their pieces.

How do you  like to dress for the holidays? And what are your favorite go-to accessories to make your outfit complete?

Yours Truly,
Vanessa

**Note: This is not a sponsored post for gorjana. As I said earlier, I purchased these pieces from their booth at the BlogHer conference and have enjoyed wearing these lovely pieces for date nights and dinner parties. Even though this is not a sponsored post, please support this wonderful company by browsing and purchasing any of their lovely {and affordable} pieces. The company was started by Jason and Gorjana Reidel, and they still own and operate the company in Laguna Beach, Calif. The family and the company are committed to “being good neighbors and making a positive difference in people’s lives” that they not only donate their time to help a non-profit organization, but they hold fundraising events and design jewelry to benefit a cause.
