Links I Love: April

This month’s collection of “Links I Love” are from some really lovely bloggers and influencers that I’ve either recently discover over the past several weeks or that I’ve followed for a couple of years. I follow all of these bloggers on Instagram, and I’ve enjoyed their content so much that I ultimately decided to support these ladies and subscribe to their blogs. These ladies are putting out great content and I hope you like these links as much as I do!

1. Cupcakes & CashmereHow to Find Treasures (and Bargains) at the Flea Market

“One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.” Anyone who knows me, knows that I love browsing around a good flea market and rifling through items at thrift store. Emily of Cupcakes & Cashmere has give me some additional pointers when it comes to finding “treasures” at a flea market. In this post, Emily takes us through the Rose Bowl Flea Market, which is now on my bucket list! “My favorite accessories to look for at the flea market are belts, silk scarves, straw bags, pins, and vintage sweatshirts,” says Emily. “These are things I feel comfortable buying vintage and easily add flair to an outfit without feeling too precious.”

2. Lauren ConradGo For It: The 4 Words to Remove From Your Emails

Lauren gained fame on the MTV reality show, Laguna Beach, but she has made herself into quite a lifestyle guru. This new mom has collected several good contributors to her blog, including Ilana Saul. This past week, Ilana wrote a post about the four words to remove from your email. In a world where email is becoming the main form of communication between people, having good email communication skills not only helps you to present a more clear and concise message, but makes you look more self-assured to your intended recipient.

3. Randa CarrabbaThe What, Where, and Why Behind My Social Media & Blog

I discovered Randa through Instagram, from another blogger. She is a a true #BossBabe! In this post, she gets personal and explains the what, where and why of lifestyle brand. I love that she is “real” about her life and posts things that don’t quite look, as she puts it, “blogger worthy”.  Her IG feed is a tribute to all things pink and glamorous and “girly”. She is a entrepreneur who is striving to live her best life and to be the best version of herself.

4. Damsel in DiorMy Guide to Tulum

Jacey Duprie, better known as Damsel in Dior, is one of favorite content creators/bloggers/influencers to follow. I love her honesty, her candidness, and most of all, her style. She recently traveled to Tulum, which is one of the places I have wanted to go to for several years. She gives her recommendations on where to eat, sleep and play. Her travel guides make me feel like I’m there, and she showcases her style with beautiful pictures. She knows what she likes and she knows how to present her brand.

5. Goldwill Digger4 Popular Brands You’re Missing at Goodwill

I have been following this fashionable beauty for quite some time, but just recently subscribed to her blog. She is a thrifty shopper, often displaying her fashion finds on Instagram. This particular post is a few months old, but I found it extremely helpful, especially when I’m planning a Saturday devoted to thrifting. Her tips are great, and I consider her to be an “expert thrifter”. I would love to spend a day with her just thrifting around some of her favorite Goodwill stores.

I’m always looking for some new bloggers/influencers to check out and follow. If you have a suggestion or would like me to check out your blog for a future “Links I Love”, then leave me a comment below!

Yours Truly,
Vanessa
