As much as I love the long days of summer, I also love the crisp, cool temperatures of Fall, kind of like the one we’re starting to have here in East Tennessee. And with the cooler temps comes sweaters, jackets, boots, and scarves, which I why I’ve been looking for some fashion inspiration to carry me into Fall.
I own a dozen or so pashmina scarves in difference colors, and I’m really excited to also pull out my plaid ModCloth scarf. I have a good pair of tall knee-high boots, which I got last year, but I didn’t get to break them in just right yet. I also have a pair of wedge booties (in a brown-gray color), but I hope to purchase a pair of black booties this season. But fall fashion is not just about scarves and boots.
In searching for Fall fashion inspiration, I checked some blog posts from several of the bloggers I follow. Then I checked out Pinterest, because, why not? Long sweaters, boots and booties, scarves, and layered looks all caught my eye. So here are some of my fashion inspirations for Fall.
Some Fall capsule wardrobe collections will include jeans, a long skirt, cardigans, sweaters, a blazer, and boots. In trying to pull together my own Fall capsule wardrobe, I may have to purchase some staples, like those pictured above and below…
I really like these shoes. They are definitely Fall staples.
I like Candice Huffine’s layered look in the neutral tan and black combo.
I love this light gray over charcoal gray sweater-wrap skirt combo, and the bucket bag and sneakers makes it more of a casual Saturday outfit. Throw on a pair of black booties and you’re ready for date night.
Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day? I love the gray-on-gray over white jeans with gray booties. Such a classic look.
I really like Olivia Palermo’s style, and I like this look for Fall. She paired a short sleeved sweater over a chambray button down, and classic skinny jeans and flats.
I have followed the style of Julie of Sincerely Jules for year-round fashion inspiration, and she doesn’t disappoint with her Fall fashion style.
