My Review of the QVC Beauty Advent Calendar

So I’m a couple of months behind in posting this review of my QVC Christmas Beauty Advent Calendar, but here it is. The first year I purchased this beauty advent calendar, I discovered several new beauty brands that I never heard of and fell in love with a couple of products that I quickly realized that I couldn’t live without. Last year’s calendar held a few new surprises, but it still contained several of my favorites!

In November (2016), my friend Cindy A. and I ordered our Christmas Beauty Advent Calendar from QVC. We anxiously counted down the days until December 1st, when we could begin opening up each day’s gift. The wife of the doctor we work for even purchased a couple of calendar’s for their two teen daughters. From what our doctor said, they loved opening up a new product every day.

Every morning when I woke up, I would run my hand over the numbers to find that days gift. What would that day bring? And every morning at work, Cindy and I would talk about that day’s product.

The Beauty Advent Calendar included these trial-sized pieces:

  • First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
  • Molton Brown Eucalyptus Body Wash
  • StriVectin Advanced TL Neck Cream
  • Josie Maran Body Butter in Vanilla Apricot
  • Algenist Multi-Perfecting Pore Corrector Moisturizing Gel
  • philosophy amazing grace shower, bath, and shower gel
  • Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask
  • Nest Midnight Fleur Eau De Parfum
  • bareMinerals Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lipcolor in Swag, a blushing mauve shade
  • Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid
  • Clark’s Botanicals Smoothing Marine Cream
  • IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder
  • Full-size Doll 10 Lip Velvet in either Fashionista, Coutureable, or Material Girl
  • philosophy purity made simple
  • Juice Beauty Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum
  • Full-size Mally More is More Mascara
  • Two Pinrose Fragrance Petals in either Merry Maker or Secret Genius fragrance
  • Go-Soleau Make-Up Remover Towelettes
  • Full-size Campanelli towel
  • Full-size eyelash curler
  • Faux eyelashes
  • Full-size nail file
  • Full-size blender sponge
  • Compact mirror

I received the Nest Frangrance in Midnight Fleur in the 2015 Beauty Advent Calendar and fell in love with this scent {because on me it smells like cotton candy}. I also love everything I’ve gotten so far from IT Cosmetics, Algenist, Josie Maran, Mally, and Doll 10. I’m looking forward to trying the Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask and the Juice Beauty Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum. I may video myself trying on the faux eyelashes, because we all need a good laugh! Anyway, I’m beyond excited about the beauty advent calendar!

Did you get the Beauty Advent Calendar? If so, I’d love to hear what your favorite products were.

Yours Truly,
Vanessa

    1. Ooohhhh! Me too! It’s no wonder this beauty advent calendar sells out every year! I love that they include many of their best sellers but I also love that they included more beauty tools in this year’s calendar. Can’t wait til to see what they put in this year’s calendar!
