Saving with Groupon Coupons

I am always on the hunt for great deals at local and regional restaurants, spas, shopping, and travel destinations. What I love even more than the hunt is actually finding a place that has already done the hunting for me and all I have to do is decide on which great deal I want to purchase! For me, that place is Groupon!

Groupon coupons makes it easy to save money on purchases we make online.

Last year I purchased a three-month “New-U” Wellness Coaching and Small Group Training membership at Fort Sanders Health and Fitness Center in Knoxville, TN. The process of purchasing this Groupon coupon was simple. I waited about a month before I decided to redeem it, but the staff at Fort Sanders Health & Fitness Center were great in helping me redeem my Groupon coupon Not only did have access to the small group training classes, but they gave me access to the entire fitness center, which included all of the other classes (spin, yoga, barre, metabolic meltdown, HIIT, and more), the two pools (indoor and outdoor), and the tennis courts. Without Groupon, I wouldn’t have stepped out of my fitness comfort zone and participated in this wellness program.

So how can you save with Groupon? For starters, you need to download the app on your iPhone or Android device, or register online. It’s free to sign up, meaning there is no registration fee or anything like that. And setting up your profile is easy.

Download GROUPON on Android.
Once you sign up on Groupon, you can select your Deal Preferences, browse Groupon coupons, and search stores or categories for deals on everything from automotive, beauty & spa, food & drink, electronics, health & fitness, travel, and more.

I like that I can find great deals, like this great deal at Erin’s Meadow Herb Farm.

In most cases, when you select a deal, you’ll find that you will have more than one option. Select your option and click BUY. Select your quantity, add your payment method, enter your promo/gift code, and then click proceed with checkout. Your payment method will be saved for future purchases. If you don’t want to add a credit or debit card, then you can complete your order through PayPal.

It’s one thing to purchase a great deal for a demo class at Erin’s Meadow Herb Farm, a $60 hot stone massage for $34, or one month of unlimited CrossFit classes for $49, but it’s another thing to make the leap and book a vacation.

I am still a little hesitant to book a vacation through Groupon, but it hasn’t stopped me from browsing the great deals that they have to offer. They have great deals on beach vacations, but what intrigued me was a Groupon travel review I read from a young lady named Kayla Aimee, who traveled to Ireland and Chattanooga, Tenn., as part of the Groupon Getaways World Tour. She wrote about what it was really like to book a vacation through Groupon. Kayla Aimee said that she was pleasantly surprised with how smooth the booking transaction was and overall they had a great experience.

Reading about her experience has made me rethink the options to book a vacation on Groupon, especially since there are so many great deals to so many cool places around the world as well as in my own backyard (i.e., Nashville, Knoxville, Asheville, and Chattanooga).

Another thing you can save on with Groupon is YOUR TAXES. I mean, it is tax season after all, am I right? And Groupon is offering some great deals with Turbo Tax, where taxes are done smarter. If you do your own taxes {online}, then Turbo Tax – through Groupon – has several options including coupons for $20 off Turbo Tax Deluxe or $25 off Turbo Tax Self-Employed. What a deal!

Do you use Groupon coupons? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the great deals this coupon brand has offered you!

Yours Truly,
Vanessa
