A Stylish Twist on Christmas Trees

No, I have not put up a Christmas tree yet. But you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the kind of Christmas tree I have decided to put up this year.

I am trying to rework my dress form into a Christmas tree, and I’m taking inspiration from Style Estate and Pinterest. Check these out!

I also like the elegance of this tree (below). It could be a special occasion tree instead of a Christmas tree. It was featured on Style Estate’s blog.

This tree (below) shows how you can style it with a simple piece of fabric around the bodice, and a single color tree bottom.

I found this simple DIY tree (below) on Polyvore. It looks photoshopped, but you get the idea of how to DIY it.

I’ll put together another post AFTER I get my dress form Christmas tree up and decorated.

What kind of Christmas tree do you have up in your house? Is it big or small? Do you have a dress form Christmas tree up? If so, I’d love to see a photo of how you decorated it. Leave your comments below with a photo or a link to a photo!

Have a great day!

  1. Those are so cute! I’ve seen a few pictures around the last few days on Facebook and that sort of thing. I definitely look forward to seeing yours; you know, one made by a real person 😉 Our tree won’t be a dress. They’re cute but just not the right fit (HA) for my house. We just get a large one and decorate it in a traditional way!

    1. Thanks for the comment, Erin! I hope that however you decorate for Christmas, that you have a wonderful Christmas holiday! I have my dress form semi-done. I’ll post a picture to my Instagram page. You can check it out there, or check back on my blog, since I think my Instagram photos post to my blog as well. Have a great day!
