My Week in Pins – New Year’s Eve 2013

Monday is New Year’s Eve and if you’re like me, you will have a million parties to attend. Heck, you may even take a mid afternoon nap to ensure you’ll still be awake at midnight!

Actually, I have to work on Monday, but I’ll be able to spend New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day with my sweetie, Mike!

Some of my goals for 2013 include:
1. Write more blog posts that hopefully readers will find interesting, insightful, funny, etc.
2. Post more photos to Instagram, and you can follow me if you want. You can find me at vannadee37 on Instagram.
3. Lose that last 10 pounds and tighten/tone my body… I really just want to be healthy and happy!
And most importantly,
4. Be a better wife and friend to my husband.

Now that I’ve shared some of my goals for 2013, here some pins to welcome in the New Year!

(All pins come from Pinterest, but I did cite the original source if I could find it!)

As I said earlier, my husband will be home to celebrate the New Year with me, so I told him that I wanted to kiss him at the end of 2012 and right into 2013.

I haven’t seen the movie New Year’s Eve, but I think I’ll rent it this weekend and see if I can better identify who said the quote below.

Judy Garland’s quote (below) should be read by as many people as possible and it should be put into practice… because maybe, just may, if we were a little more gentle, a little more loving, and have a little more empathy, maybe we would like each other a little more.

Make 2013 a year of opportunity, starting January 1, 2013!

And here’s a great DIY project… kind of a like a “count your blessings” jar. I like this idea. Start the year with an empty jar and fill it with notes about good things that happen. Then, on New Years Eve, empty it and see what awesome stuff happened that year. Good way to keep things in perspective. do for school year?

Here’s to you, my friends… thank you for taking the time to read and follow my blog. I hope to continue writing interesting posts and I hope you will continue to read it and like it. May 2013 bring you joy, happiness, and wonderful opportunities. May you reach for the stars and actually grab some in your hands! And good luck in all your endeavors!

As always, I’d love to hear what some of your goals (or resolutions) are for 2013!

Have a great New Year’s Eve… don’t drink and drive… and above all, be safe – you are important and loved by lots of people!
