Rockin’ at the Redneck Rumble

Last weekend, I spent some time with my husband at the Redneck Rumble. There were antique autos, vintage bicycles and motorcycles, hot rods and rat rods. It is a 1-1/2 day event in Lebanon, Tenn., and it showcases the cool and unique cars, trucks and motorcycles of different car clubs from around the  south. People from a dozen or so states travel to this car show to not only see the rides, but to see the pin-up girls (sorry, I didn’t take photos of any pin-up girls). Dress Form Outfit #28

This week’s dress form outfit is very special because it features a vintage wedding dress worn by my husband’s grandmother, or “Maw” as she is affectionately known by all of us. R.C. and Audrey were married on May 4, 1946. Audrey had a double wedding with her sister, Jean. The four of them even honeymooned in Florida together. The dress has aged quite a bit, but it is still quite beautiful. The satin bodice features delicate cutouts around the neckline.
