13 Gift Ideas for Mother’s Day

My mom is kind of special to me. I’m not saying that just to butter her up (because she does read my blog), but I mean it from the deepest corners of my heart. Not only do I get to honor and celebrate her on Mother’s Day, but her birthday is so close to Mother’s Day that she gets twice the gifts that most other mothers out there receive. A Mini-Roundup from NYFW

I love fashion, and I love New York City. So it would just make sense that I would love New York Fashion Week, even though I’ve never been to NYFW or to a fashion show. NYFW is specifically for industry insiders, media (newspapers, magazines, and television), models and celebrities, and select VIBs (very important bloggers). I love seeing all the lovely sandals walking around this summer. Ladies rockin’ flats, slides, wedges, platforms, leather, espadrilles, Roman sandals… geez, there’s just so many styles from which to choose that a gal like myself sometimes has a hard time choosing the right sandal. Dress Form Outfit #17

This week’s dress form outfit features a black tank top and a olive green pencil skirt. I don’t think you’d need a necklace since the tank top has an embellished neckline, but feel free to pile on the thin bracelets and a simple pair of gold hoop earrings. To make this a “work appropriate” outfit, slip on a pair of black high heels and a cardigan. To make this outfit work for the weekend, slip on a pair of Tory Burch elastic high wedge espadrilles and toss on a denim jacket! I purchased the H&M olive green pencil skirt at the Unclaimed Baggage Center(http://unclaimedbaggage.com) in Scottoboro, AL. It […]
