Dinner Party: Special Mother’s Day Edition

Welcome to another one of my {imaginary} Saturday dinner parties, where I invite celebrity guests into my home. This month is special because it’s Mother’s Day is next Sunday. So today’s blog post is extra special because it features some of my favorite celebrity mother-daughter duos. I really think my mother would enjoy having dinner with these wonderful and inspiring women, sharing a meal with them, and exchanging stories about raising strong, independent, smart, and sassy daughters. Also on the invite list is Robert Englund, a.k.a. Freddy Krueger (Nightmare on Elm Street) and Matthew Goode (Stoker). To add a little humor to the night would be Simon Pegg […]

12 Hollywood Couples I’d Love to Host for Dinner

It’s Saturday and my fantasy dinner party is coming together. I’ve got a simple, yet elegant, tablescape. The wine chilling is in the fridge. And I’m putting the final touches on dinner and dessert. So which Hollywood couples are on my dinner party guest list? They are couples who have been married a long time, with the exception of one adorable couple whom I still consider newlyweds. I have been huge fans of these actors and actresses for years. I remember watching some of these actors in big budget movies and independent films, and on TV shows. So let’s get to the […]
