Although I have lived in East Tennessee since the fall of 1991, my heart belongs to Texas. I grew up out west, in Levelland, surrounded by cotton fields, marching in the high school band, and making life-long friends. I truly am heartbroken by the devastating weather reports and tragic news that I hear about when listening to my local NPR radio station.
