On Sunday many of my favorite actresses walk the Red Carpet on their way to the 89th Academy Awards show and looked absolutely stunning. I was eager to wrote a post recapping the Oscars fashion, but decided to wait and write one combined “Women of Style” piece, kind of like I did for the Emmys. Fabulous and Over 40

Now that I’m in my 40s, I tend to find myself drawn to actresses over 40. They have a maturity, yet a young and playful side to them, that I find appealing and down-to-earth. Wendi McClendon-Covey. Melissa McCarthy. Octavia Spencer. Amy Poehler. Wendi McClendon-Covey. Melissa McCarthy. Octavia Spencer. Amy Poehler. Debra Messing.  These beautiful women are some of the most incredibly talented and funny women in movies and television today… and they are all fabulous and over 40! I sat down at my desk this evening with the plan to compile a list of a few of my favorite actors and actresses; however, as I started jotting down names, the list grew longer by the second!
