Fabulous and Over 40

Wendi McClendon-Covey. Melissa McCarthy. Octavia Spencer. Amy Poehler. Debra Messing.  These beautiful women are some of the most incredibly talented and funny women in movies and television today… and they are all fabulous and over 40! They have starred (separately, and sometimes together) in some of my favorite movies and TV shows. Wendi and Melissa co-starred in last summer’s hit Bridesmaids, but I love Wendi as the sexpot in Reno 911! And Melissa was the lovable Sookie in Gilmore Girls. A New Look at Life Through the Eyes of Benjamin Button

I recently watch The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and it gave me a new look at life and how we (or more specifically, I) live our lives. The Sundance Kid: Robert Redford

Actor. Director. Producer. Environmentalist. Philanthropist. Robert Redford, a.k.a. The Sundance Kid, seems to have done it all at one time or another. Born on August 18, 1936 in Santa Monica, Calif., Redford was the son of an oil company accountant. In high school, he excelled at sports. In 1955, a year after he finished high school, his mother passed away. After her death, he ran into some difficulties, including being fired from several jobs and having a few run-ins with the law. He attended the University of Colorado on a baseball scholarship, where he was the team’s pitcher. After just […]
