Instagram Bloggers Who Inspire Me

I find fashion inspiration everywhere, especially in the style from other bloggers whose fashion sense I love. As a fashion and lifestyle blogger myself, I find inspiration by checking out other bloggers in my niche. Most of these bloggers are younger than I am, but it doesn’t matter to me because style is ageless. It would be a dream of mine to have brunch or lunch with these four bloggers and talk with them about what inspires them as bloggers and as women. Damsel in Dior – Jacey Dupree Ms. Dupree is a Texan currently living in California. I discovered […]

Links I Love

I know I have touted the awesomeness of Bloglovin’ before, but it truly is one of the main websites I go to to read some wonderful blogs. I also subscribe to and enjoy reading several blogs, and I am always excited to get their daily and/or weekly newsletters. So in the spirit of sharing, here are some link I love right now. Add Some Sparkle to Your Wardrobe

A few years ago, I bought my first sequined mini-skirt. I had it hanging in my closet for a while before I actually pulled it out last year and wore it for the first time to my office Christmas party. This sequined dress {below} is sold out, but Forever 21 has some great {inexpensive} sequined outfits, from shift dresses and tunics to bomber jackets and capes. Looking to add sequins […]

Things That Make Me Happy (a.k.a. My Little Happies)

I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and came across several #MyLittleHappies photos, where people listed “little happy things” in their life. I thought that this was a great idea, in that making a list, and I mean physically writing a list of little happy things, is a great reminder to stop and smell the roses. It all started when I found Jacey Duprie’s (Damsel in Dior) list. I love that she put “breaking an egg” and “a fully charged battery” on her happy list. Then I found Mary Kendall Butler’s list, and I liked that she put “unsubscribe here” and […]

My Go-To Beauty Products

I have only been wearing makeup for about eight years, and it has been a bit of trial and error to figure out what works with my skin. In the past, I have tried to use several beauty products, or specific beauty lines, but ended up not continuing with it because I was lazy or because it was too expensive. But now that I’m older, I have found that a tried and true beauty routine is a must. Starting with my hair… I have naturally curly hair (NCH) that falls down to below my shoulders (when it’s dry). It has […]
