Links I Love: July 2019 / www.vanessahwood.com

July was full of blog posts, IG stories and shopping haul videos all about the #NSale {Nordstrom}, but I waded through all of that to bring you some really great “links I love” from some of my favorite bloggers and newsletters.

How Much I Spent On My Trip To Buy An Apartment in Paris {Refinery 29, Travel Diaries}

Who wouldn’t want an apartment in Paris? I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE {and I mean, L-O-V-E} to be able to afford an apartment in Paris.

I love how the author of this post breaks it down, day-by-day, on how she spent her money {like on food, cabs, etc.}. I also like that she explained why she was getting an apartment in Paris and how she could afford it. If you’ve ever thought of getting an apartment abroad, then this is a good read.

I love the look of a crisp white t-shirt, but I don’t like how dingy they can look after several wears. So if you’re going to wear a plain white tee, then StyleCaster shares some fashion inspo for how to style it.

I also liked her post about the 11 brands she found on Instagram.

What I’m Loving Now {Penny Pincher Fashion}

This post features some great products, but it also details a way to “give back” {check out the part about what to do with your old mascara wands}. I’m thinking I may need to try this Living Proof color care whipped glaze, especially if it prevents my color from fading.

How to Paint Your Nails at Home {Cristin Cooper}

As much as I love to go to the nail salon and get a manicure, I don’t always want to spend “that much money” on getting my nails done. I’m sure there are a lot of other women out there who feel the same way as I do. For this reason, I wanted to share Cristin’s tips on how to do your nails at home.

How To Make The Most of Summer (Before It’s Too Late) {Damsel in Dior}

The beginning of school typically marks the end of summer, but for those of us who don’t have children, I’m still reveling in the last few weeks of summer. Jacey shares some great ideas on how to make the most of summer, so enjoy long walks, outdoor movie nights, or take a day trip to some place you’ve always wanted to go {for me it would be Asheville, NC, to The Biltmore}.
