Saturday was full of excitement for me. First thing I did was make a yummy French toast breakfast for me and my husband. Then I went to my local Ulta Beauty Salon and got a haircut {can we say “big chop”?}. And then when I got home, my husband said, “I got my FabFitFun box today. Want to see what’s inside?”

I don’t wear a lot of makeup, so this palette may not be used the way it was intended. It may end up going to one of my nieces, who may get more use out of it than I would. However, it a beautiful palette with six powder and cream shades to create a perfectly chiseled look. - ELEMIS Papaya Enzyme Peel {$45}
I love how my skin feels after I exfoliate it, but some exfoliators are too harsh or leave my skin feeling a bit raw. That’s why I’m really looking forward to trying the gentle cream exfoliator. - Minor History Post Script Wallet {$20}

Sunscreen is so important, especially during the summer months when we tend to be outside for longer periods of time. This sunscreen will come in handy on those weekends when I’m at a car show with the hubby or outdoor antique show. - FOREO LUNA fofo {$89}
I was pleasantly surprised and excited to see this in the Summer box. The Luna fofo is the newest device in the Foreo line of skin cleansing systems. This particular one is “powered by Bluetooth technology and advanced skin sensors to create a totally personalized profile, which is sent straight to the newly launched FOREO LUNA app.” {Tip: Avoid clay or grainy cleansers as they may damage the silicone touch points.}
This season’s box was designed by Ayumi Takahashi, and is a brightly-colored box. Like most of Takahashi’s artwork, the box features a lovely woman surrounded by flowers and birds.
Like season’s past, this box raising awareness for a cause, and that cause is the Wildlife Conservation Society. Inside the box was a plastic straw. Plastic is a serious problem for the ocean, the wildlife, and for us. Wildlife often mistake plastic for food and they accidentally ingest the plastic, or they become entangled in plastic debris.
