Steal Her Style: Nina Garcia

As long as I can remember, Nina Garcia has always had amazing style. She has been in the fashion industry since the early 1980s, but she walked into my life in 2005 as a judge on Project Runway. She recently left Marie Claire where she was the Creative Director, and stepped into the Editor-In-Chief position at ELLE magazine.

Nina authored four books: The Little Black Book of Style, The One Hundred: A Guide to the Pieces Every Stylish Woman Must Own, The Style Strategy, and Nina Garcia’s Look Book.

For this particular “Steal Her Style”, I had a difficult time trying to decide which of Nina’s looks to replicate. I narrowed it down to this particular look, which I think, is perfect for that transition from Spring to Summer.

Nina loves a classic button-down and I just love this car-wash pleat skirt.

Nina’s style so incredible that I named her my “Woman of Style” in September 2017. She looks flawless all of the time. If you don’t believe me, then search her name on Pinterest and you’ll get to see her fashionable style on full display. Follow her on Instagram or on Twitter {@ninagarcia}, or buy the latest issue of ELLE to see how she is looking to amplify the brand’s personal style.

How would you make this look your own? Tag me on Instagram {@vanessa_h_wood} so I can check out your look!

Yours Truly,
Vanessa
