College football is underway, and football fans are sporting their team’s colors loud and proud. Although I live in East Tennessee – home of the Tennessee Volunteers – my heart still belongs to Texas.
I grew up just outside of Lubbock – home of the Texas Tech Red Raiders. My brother, who has been a die-hard Texas Aggies fan since he was a junior in high school at Levelland High School, is now a senior at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Last year, I visited my brother and sister-in-law and had the opportunity and the privilege to attend the last TAMU home game and picked up some major Aggie swag, including this cool tank top (“It’s Aggie football, y’all!”).
I paired my football tank with my G by Guiliana boyfriend jeans, an ombre lightweight sleeveless jacket, and some greyish-brown Dr. Scholl’s wedges.
On a side note, the TAMU material laying on top of my ceramic elephant is waiting to become a pillowcase to cover a couple of pillows that I made for my brother.
Now all I need are tank tops with Tennessee Volunteer colors and Texas Tech colors! If someone wants to send me a tank top of their favorite college team, I’ll be more than happy to style it on my dress form. Just leave a comment below with your email address and I’ll be in touch!
