Wanderlust Wednesday: Take Me to Disney

I’m 43 years old (and I’m not afraid to admit it) and I’ve NEVER been to either Disneyland or Disney World. One is in Florida and the other is in California. But this girl right here (imagine me excitedly waving my hands in the air) has never been to either Disney location. I want to have my picture taken with Mickey and Minnie. I want to dance with Goofy. I want to hug Donald and Daisy Duck.

I want to have a Princess makeover like Penny, Bernadette, and Amy did in The Big Bang Theory.

I want to ride the rides, see the shows, and walk around wearing a huge pair of Princess slipper shoes like Gloria did in Modern Family.

I tend to be a bit on the “cheap” side, so I love to find special deals or even freebies, and Guide 2 WDW has detailed some of the best free things at Walt Disney World. You can get a free pin if you are celebrating a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, etc.). There are free art classes, free concerts at Epcot, free Sprinkles cupcakes, and more. Just check out the Guide 2 WDW for the deets.

Not sure when to travel to Disney? Green dots represent the lightest crowds, while red dots represent the heaviest crowds. It seems like the best time to go is in April and May.

Every trip or vacation needs a “bucket list” of must-see and must-do things, and Disney is no exception. At the top of the list is meeting Mickey and Minnie (obviously)!

There are rides and shows and more rides… so much from which to choose. Cinderella’s Castle. The Matterhorn. It’s a Small World. Mad Tea Party. Space Mountain. Pirates of the Caribbean. Aladdin’s Magic Carpet Ride. Fantasyland. Tomorrowland. The parades and the fireworks! The list is endless!

All I know is that I wanna go!!

Have you been to Disneyland or Disney World? What was your favorite part (either ride, attraction, show)?

Yours Truly,
Vanessa
