I came across this quote about “charity” and thought it was worth sharing.

I like to think that I am a charitable person, but this quote brought to light a whole new meaning of what charity is. It truly is expecting the best of each other; accepting their differences, shortcomings, and weaknesses; and resisting the impulse to get mad or offended or pissed off when they don’t handle a situation like we would have hoped.
When I really stop to read this quote, not just look at it but really read the words that make up this quote, I realize that I could be more charitable, that I could be more accepting.
I believe we all have the ability to be more charitable, not only with our family and close friends, but with our co-workers, our acquaintances, and our neighbors near and far, known and unknown.
