I know what you’re saying… elephants?
Yes. They are strong, beautiful creatures.
Have you seen Water for Elephants, starring Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson? If you haven’t, it is really a beautiful movie. But that’s not my point. Robert Pattinson cares for the elephant in a traveling circus and Reese trains and has an act featuring that strong, beautiful elephant.

When I saw this photo for the first time, I will admit it made me a little sad. Surely they can make an exception, considering the tiny stature of the elephant and the fact that it’s on wheels!

This photo reminds me of Seven Years in Tibet and the young Tibetan monk. The compassion this young boy has for these glorious creatures is touching.

This colorful elephant reminds me of Eat Love Pray, when Julia Roberts comes face to face with that colorful elephant. Just thinking about that scene in the movie makes me smile!

When I tried to locate the original pin, it sent me to a media cache so, unfortunately I don’t know much about this stunning photo except that it is an elephant under an acacia tree in Africa. The sunset is simply breathtaking.
