A Month of Thankfulness

Photo Source: Stylabl via Pinterest October is gone and November is upon us. In fact, we are already a week into this month. The weather is about to turn a little bit colder. All of the colorful leaves have fallen off the trees. And if we’re lucky, the sun will come out for a few hours a day and remind us that Winter is just another season that we have to endure until Spring and Summer return! Getting Ready for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is next week, and thousands of people are preparing to either travel to visit family and/or friends, vacation in warmer destinations, or cook the Thanksgiving meal. I, myself, fall into the last category because last year, my husband and I spent Thanksgiving in Las Vegas! Like so many, I will be preparing the entire meal for the first time. My job and my co-workers, who are all freakin’ fabulous! […]

Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heavy, and somewhat broken, heart. Heavy because of the anxiety and fears I keep bundled up inside, and broken-hearted because right now, I am missing both of my […]

My Week in Pins – Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a day to give THANKS and this holiday season, I have a lot for which to be thankful! But that’s another post for another day, so I’ll just share with you my week in pins, which this week is all about Thanksgiving! [Sorry this post is a day late, but better late than never!] All photos come from Pinterest, but I have named the original source if one was listed. Who doesn’t enjoy the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special every year, am I right? And I love the family dynamics in the Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving painting. I always think that […]
