Wanderlust: California

I have always wanted to go to California! I have a couple of friends who live out there and they love it! I actually went to L.A. a couple of years ago for a blog conference, but I didn’t get to venture out beyond the hotel and the area around the Staples Center. Man of Style: Daniel Day-Lewis

London-born thespian and Oscar winner, Daniel Day-Lewis, has a unique style all his own.  I recently read an interview with him where the interviewer said that he brought a duffel bag full of his own clothes because he refuses to be “dressed” and is uncomfortable having his photo taken. Movie Remakes I Want to See

I was watching Pitch Perfect the other night and Skylar Astin’s character, Jesse, was bragging to Anna Kendrick’s character, Beca, about movies with great soundtracks and he mentioned The Breakfast Club. The song, “Don’t You Forget About Me” by Simple Minds, is awesome, and I love the part in that movie when Judd Nelson triumphantly thrusts his fist up into the air as the credits began to roll. This same song was “mashed up” with another song in Pitch Perfect and was performed by Beca (Anna Kendrick) and the Barden Bellas. I won’t reveal any more details in case you […]

The Dapper Gentleman: Eddie Redmayne

“Please know this, I am fully aware that I am a lucky, lucky man.” – Eddie Redmayne said on accepting the Best Actor Oscar for The Theory of Everything in 2014. Eddie Redmayne portrayed Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. He sang his way into our hearts in Les Miserables. And most recently, he transformed himself into a transgender woman in The Danish Girl.   Photo Source: WWD via Pinterest   Eddie Redmayne with Stephen Hawking / Photo Source: Refinery29 via Pinterest   Photo Source: PopSugar Entertainment via Pinterest I first fell in love with Eddie when he starred alongside Michelle […]
