I love fashion, and I love New York City. So it would just make sense that I would love New York Fashion Week, even though I’ve never been to NYFW or to a fashion show. NYFW is specifically for industry insiders, media (newspapers, magazines, and television), models and celebrities, and select VIBs (very important bloggers). More Material Than I Can Shake A Stick At

I went to my Grandma Howard’s house this past weekend and spent about two hours going through her fabric closet. It’s no “Mood Designer Fabric” store, but it’s more material than I can shake a stick at. And get this – I don’t even own a sewing machine! Although I left quite a bit of material and fabric scraps behind, I hauled away a large black garbage bag full of potential skirts, vests, wrap dresses, tops, pillow case covers, etc. The possibilities are endless, if only I had a sewing machine.
