Sharing Some Oreo Delight

For me, Christmas is more than giving gifts. It is a time for family to come together and eat great food. This year, I was asked to bring a dessert to our family’s get-together. So I whipped up something super tasty. Instead of your regular “Chocolate Delight”, I made “Oreo Delight” at the request of my husband, Mike. Here’s a picture, from start to finish! Here’s how you can make this tasty dessert. Ingredients: 1 pkg of regular Oreo cookies 3/4 stick of butter, melted 2 – 8 oz containers of Cool Whip 1 – 8 oz pkg of cream […]

Getting Ready for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is next week, and thousands of people are preparing to either travel to visit family and/or friends, vacation in warmer destinations, or cook the Thanksgiving meal. Don't' Just Sit There… Do Something!

I have three nieces, all over the age of 12, and when I found this “activity list” on Pinterest, I immediately thought of them. This list is great for kids of all ages! This list also has some great ideas for families. With the summer between school years getting shorter, it seems, this is a quick activities list filled with great ideas – from chores (clean your room, learn to use the washing machine) to cooking sessions (cupcakes, pizzas), and crafts (make a bird feeder, make a rain water collector) to adventures (pretend you’re a knight, go to a museum). […]
