Summer is winding down for most people, but not for me. I don’t have to purchase school supplies or anything like that so, I did something I normally wouldn’t do and made a few {somewhat} impulsive purchases recently, all of which I put on my dress form to show off some fun summer outfits. Here’s Look #1: Here’s Look #2: Here’s Look #3: Here’s Look #4: Here are the details the outfits: Who What Wear Chambray Ruffled top from Target {purchased on sale for $6.88} Forever 21 blue skinny jeans {available in many styles and colors} G by Giuliana x […]

Patricia Nash Designs “Enjoying the Moment” in Knoxville

Last Fall, Patricia Nash Designs moved its Headquarters into a renovated industrial building near downtown Knoxville. Located off of 6th Avenue, the building houses its Flagship Showroom, creative and corporate operations, and E-commerce distribution center. I missed the Blogger Bash they held there at the end of June because I was at the BlogHer #17 Conference in Orlando, but I did manage to stop by during the three-day Sample Sale event a couple of weeks ago. First of all, the building is amazing, and when you walk inside the building, the openness is breathtakingly beautiful. The Showroom is to the […]

Warby Parker x Off-White Virgil Abloh Collab Features Luxe Sunnies

Earlier this week, Virgil Abloh unveiled his much-anticipated collaboration with Warby Parker. I have been on the hunt for a stylish pair of prescription sunglasses since January when I had my eyes check. I ended up with two pair of “progressive” glasses because I couldn’t make up my mind on a pair of prescription sunglasses. But now, I think I just found the perfect pair of prescription sunglasses in the Warby Parker x Off-White Virgil Abloh collaboration. These are definitely the season’s hottest sunglasses collaboration. Combining Warby Parker’s alternative approach to eyewear with Off-White’s unorthodox take on high-fashion, this limited-edition […]

Man of Style: Rob Lowe

I first remember watching Rob Lowe as Sodapop Curtis in The Outsiders and as Billy Hicks in St. Elmo’s Fire. He has appeared in some really great movies and TV shows, like West Wing, Brothers & Sisters, and Parks & Recreation. This 80’s heartthrob has a classic style that has been in the business for over 40 years, and he is still just as handsome now as he was back in the early 80s. This is why he is this month’s “Man of Style.” I have reacquainted myself with Rob Lowe since rediscovering him as Senator Robert McCallister on Brothers […]

Create a New Look with Black Hairspray

*This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own. Growing up, I have always wanted to change my hairstyle from curly to straight, or from long to short, or from mousy brown to blonde or red, but I’ve never had the nerve to do it because of previous bad hair experiences. Now there is a remedy for women like myself who want to create a new look without a long-term commitment, and that is the Remy Hair looks from Black Hairspray. Not familiar with Black Hairspray? Well, they are an online beauty supply shopping company that offers thousands of […]
