A Month of Blogging: Blogtober 2018 Recap

Green Acres Meets Paris Blogtober 2018 Recap / www.vanessahwood.com

Anyone who has a blog, whether they are a full-time or a part-time blogger, knows the anxiety and stress that goes along with trying to publish a quality blog post every day. And for me personally, to add to that stress, I challenged myself to do another Blogtober this year, meaning I wrote a blog post every day for the month of October. I typically publish between 5-10 posts a month, most of which are monthly features, but coming up with quality content day after day, that people would enjoy reading, is still quite a bit of a challenge. Wanderlust Wednesday: Downtown Knoxville, Tennessee

Bijou Theatre Knoxville

A couple of years ago, I featured Knoxville, Tenn., in one of my “Wanderlust Wednesday” posts. I posted it the Wednesday after I walked around downtown during the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure walk. This coming Saturday, Oct. 27th, I will once again be participating in the Komen walk. I haven’t been all over the world (yet), but I always say that when I hit the lottery, I’m going to do some serious traveling! […]

Wanderlust Wednesday: London

The entire world was captivated this past weekend as we watched Prince Harry marry American actress, Meghan Markle. Hundreds of thousands of people flocked to London to watch these two lovebirds exchange vows. I’m sure the city of London benefitted {financially} from these tourists, and hopefully the tourist also benefitted from their visit in this fine city. With all the beautiful historical buildings and the dozens of attractions, any visitor could quench a bit of their wanderlust as they taxied around the city. The city of London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom. “At its center stand […]
