Fall Premieres I Can’t Wait to See

Most men (and some women) are excited that NFL and college football season has started, but me? I’m more excited about the return of some of my favorite TV shows and the premiere of one “hot” new show! And believe it or not, there is not one reality show on my list! First, let me start off with the NEW show! A friend of mine — ok, so we’re not really friends in the “we hang out all the time” kind of way, but I met him a few years ago at a screenwriter’s conference in Nashville and we are […]

Why Khloe and Kourtney Are My Faves!

I have really tried to pull myself away from watching the mindless dribble that is reality television, but somehow those Kardashians keep pulling me in with their family drama! I just watched the conclusion of the “Kardashian therapy session” and my heart really went out to Rob Kardashian. My Review of the September T&C

Last month I expressed my excitement about getting several magazines in the mail. Among those magazines was the September issue of Town & County, which was full of really great articles. One article that popped out at me was in the “Manners & Misdemeanors” column, which this month was written by Ali Wentworth, the beautiful wife of George Stephanopoulos. The Millennium Trilogy are Good Reads

Earlier this year, I read Stieg Larsson’s “The Millennium Trilogy” – The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets’ Nest. When I say “read”, what I meant was “listened to”, because I checked out the audiobooks from my local library. These audiobooks were read by Simon Vance, who I think was the perfect choice to read these books! For those of you who like to read the book before watching the movie, I strongly suggest you check with your local library to see if they have the audiobooks. You will not […]

A Glimpse Into Her Life

My Week With Marilyn, based on Colin Clark’s memoir of the same name, gave us (the viewers) a glimpse into her life. This movie follows the players in the making of The Prince and The Showgirl, featuring Sir Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe. “Sir Laurence Olivier is making a movie in London. Young Colin Clark, an eager film student, wants to be involved and he navigates himself a job on the set. When film star Marilyn Monroe arrives for the start of shooting, all of London is excited to see the blonde bombshell, while Olivier is struggling to meet her many […]
