On Saturday, October 27th, I joined thousands of other people who participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Knoxville, TN. The 5K course took racers and walkers through downtown Knoxville. I walked with Katy and her husband, Russ, and we had a great time! It rained just a little bit during the first mile, but it eventually stopped and it cooled the air considerably. Several of my other co-workers were participating, but I could only find Katy when the race was getting ready to start. The three of us finished in 1-hour and 22 minutes. I […]

My Week in Pins – Landscapes
I’ve had a rather busy week and I was pinning the other night thinking that I could use one of those O, Oprah Magazine “Breathing Space” moments. You know what I’m talking about, right? She prints a beautiful two-page photo and encourages her readers to use the photo as inspiration to a moment to reflect and relax… to use it as a “breathing space.” So this week in pins, I decided to share some beautiful “breathing space” moments for you to take a few moments from your busy day and try to de-stress… breathe in and breathe out… relax and enjoy! Note: […]
My Week in Pins – Odd Couples

These two friends understand the joys of sharing! You can just see and feel the love between these two beautiful dogs. I love seeing teamwork between these two pandas. Who says dogs and cats can’t get along! My dad has four […]

Seinfeld’s first contact with Mr. Nancy was on the night of August 30, 1995, when he went to a friend’s house to watch the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon. He […]
