Hello, and welcome to another Saturday Dinner Party, where I invite some of my favorite celebrities {from movies, TV, music, and other entertainment genres} over to my house in the East Tennessee countryside for an imaginary dinner party. This month, I’ve invited three of my favorite Country Music couples. I don’t listen to country music as much now as I did several years ago {I’m an NPR junkie}, but these country music artists are still some of my favorites to this day. The three couples I’ve invited to my {imaginary} dinner party are Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Garth Brooks […]

Jobs I Want To Try Some Day
Let me start today’s post by saying that I enjoy my job as a Registered Medical Assistant. I enjoy those I work with, and I enjoy the job in general. That being said, I still think of myself as that awkward 20-something fresh out of college with hopes and dreams of having this job or that job, but mostly I dream about being a publish and paid writer/blogger. Now with that being said, here is a list of a few of the jobs I’d like to try someday… 1) Actress… My husband says I’m a drama queen. I have been known […]
My Walking Tour Through Downtown Knoxville
Last Saturday, I met up with several other bloggers and foodies from the Knoxville and surrounding area to experience what the downtown Knoxville area has to offer. It was a crazy, event-filled weekend, what with the Pride-fest and farmer’s market and just regular weekend traffic. But by golly, it was great food and even better company! The tour was organized by blogger Gwendolyn Mulholland of Finding Sanity in Our Crazy Life. She booked the tour through East TN Tours. There was 12 of us total, including our tour guide, Lauren Quinn, who also owns East TN Tours. Lauren was well-prepared […]
Sending My Love to London

My heart broke for the people of London, […]
