I’m getting ready for summer and needed to get a few things to help me get that summer glow. I picked up some things from the Sephora VIB Beauty Event, and couldn’t wait to share my picks with you.
I’ll admit… I was properly “influenced” by another blogger {Emily of The Sweetest Thing} to purchase a couple of these products, and then, while waiting in line, I literally grabbed a couple of other things. But you know what? I don’t regret my purchases.
Sephora VIB Store Purchases
I really only went to Sephora for two items — Sol de Janeiro Glowmotions in Copacabana Bronze and Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in vanilla.
The Copacabana Bronze may look dark, but it goes on with just a hint of color and with the right amount of shimmer. And the lip sleeping mask is luxurious and keeps my lips smooth and moisturized/hydrated until dawn.
While I was standing in line, I ended up pickup up Buxom Full On Plumping Lip Polish in Sandy and the Sephora Collection Mini Glow Peel Pads.
I used some of my “beauty insider” points to get a sample of the Sunday Riley A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum. And did you know that you can ask for a sample of almost any product in the store? Well, I did and I took advantage of it and got a sample of Dior‘s Capture Youth Plump Filler.
Sephora VIB Online Purchases
Then last week, I went to Sephora’s website and picked up a couple more items that I didn’t have time to look for in the store. I’ve heard and read and seen so many bloggers and celebrities rave The Ordinary that I had to get a few of their products to try out myself. The amazing thing about this brand is that a lot of their products {at least the three that I purchased} are less than $10 each.

I picked up a bottle of one of my favorite brands of self-tanner, Vita Liberata. With my online order, I selected two samples – Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (I’ve already got a full-size jar of this stuff and it’s amazing!}, and IT Cosmetics Secret Sauce {which I’m falling more in love with this line every day}.
I usually don’t post about my shopping hauls, but these products are too good not to share. The Sephora VIB Beauty Event may be over, but don’t hesitate to get a sample or two from your local store.
