FabFitFun Fall Box has #EveryLittleThing You Need for Fall

FabFitFun 2018 Fall Box

Last week, my husband {who is home recuperating after a motorcycle accident} texted me and said he noticed that my FabFitFun box arrived. He managed the bring it inside our breezeway, along with a rather large post-accident gift he purchased for himself. I already knew some of the items that would be in the box {because I customized it}, but I am always excited to open it and see everything IRL. Does anyone else feel the same way when you get a package in the mail?

As Katie Ann Rosen Kitchens wrote in the Fall magazine, “This box is full of little things we hope add up to a whole lot of happiness this fall.” And boy-howdy, was she right!

{*Disclosure: I am a FabFitFun Affiliate, which means if you order from my blog posts, I receive a small commission. #fffaffiliate #fffpartner}

But first, can we just talk about how lovely the box is?

FabFitFun Fall Box Artist Clare Owens

Clare Owen, a UK-based illustrator, was the box artist, and she captured the essence of fall perfectly. From the crunchy leaves to the lady on her bike, this box makes me yearn for the coziness of fall. Like Clare, Fall is my favorite season! To see more of Clare’s artwork, head over to her website or to Instagram {@clarelowen}.

Every Fall Box included a BeautyBlender® sponge {mine was fuchsia pink}, a set of two Simply Whimsical tea towels, Skin&Co Roma Blue in Capri shower gel, a two-pack of GlamGlow BUBBLESHEET™ oxygenating deep cleanse mask, and a Luna® Rica™ bar {sponsored}. The total value of the Fall Box ranges from $285.97-$375.94, depending on selection of the options. And you can get your hands on this box for just $49.99*.

FabFitFun 2018 Fall Box

I have been a FabFitFun member since the Fall of 2015 {WOW!}, and I grow to love this subscription box with each season. I am so confident that you will also love this box that I want to offer you my special code – PUMPKINSPICE – so you can get $10 off your first box. That’s a $200+ value on full size premium products for just $39.99. WHAT A SWEET DEAL!!! {*This subscription box is $49.99 per quarter, or $179.99 a year.}

There were three customization options for all FabFitFun members.

Option 1:

Vince Camuto Luck tote {$128} in black or red desert or the Crown Brush 6-piece brush set {$75} in black + rose gold or silver. I chose the Luck tote in black. It is made of soft vegan leather and is a fairly large tote. It can easily fit my Mac and a notebook. The brush set is made of 100% synthetic bristles and includes all the brushes you need to perfect any look.

Option 2:

Alfred Teapot {$26} or the Alfred French Press {$22}. I chose the teapot, mainly because I don’t drink coffee. The teapot is ceramic and has a stainless steel like, a wide-lipped infuser, and a dripless spout. It is a beautiful baby blue with white and pink flowers. For those coffee lovers, the stainless steel coffee press makes it easy to brew the perfect cup of java.

Option 3:

Catherine Malandrino umbrella {$39.99} in red floral or black/white floral or CYLO Cobra bluetooth wireless earbuds {$40} in black or white. I chose the bluetooth wireless earbuds because my cellphone does not have a place to plug in earbuds. These earbuds will allow me to listen to music and answer my phone calls. I received an umbrella several seasons ago in another box, so I figured I didn’t need another umbrella.

For select members with annual plans, like myself, there were two additional options.

Option 1:

Grown Alchemist (A) polishing facial exfoliant {67}, (B) hydra-repair day cream: camellia & geranium blossom {$49}, or (C) hydra-restore cream cleanser: olive leaf & plantago extract {$49}. I chose the exfoliant, mainly because I like exfoliators, especially ones that are gentle enough to be used daily. “This exfoliant is formulated with glucomannan from konjac to absorb oils and pink grapefruit to fight free radicals.”

Option 2:

Farmacy Dew It All total eye cream {$38}, Touch in Sol Metallist liquid foil lipstick duo in “Penny” {$24.99}, or Cuccio Somatology Yogahhh! detox bath {$39.95}. I selected the detox bath. I don’t take a lot of baths {maybe once or twice a week; I’m more of a shower person}, but when I do take a bath, I pour in a generous amount of scented epsom salts, so for me the detox bath salts were a given. And although I like a couple of other Farmacy products, I just can’t wear eye creams because my eyes are so sensitive and they tend to get super dry if I use a lot of moisturizer or eye creams. And I’m more of a Carmex gal, so I tend to gift lipsticks to my nieces or to friends.

FabFitFun 2018 Fall Box

As with every seasonal box, this box partners with and supports a great cause. This season FabFitFun partnered with Right Action for Women, which was founded in 2008 by Christina Applegate, who was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 36. “Early detection is the key to living a full, long life,” said Christina. RAW is committed to educating women to help them “understand what it means to be at risk for breast cancer and to alleviate costs of advanced breast cancer screening”, like MRIs. Learn more about RAW at www.rightactionforwomen.org.

I am a Registered Medical Assistant who works with a breast surgeon, and we treat and care for dozens and dozens of breast cancer patients every week, so this partnership between FabFitFun and Right Action for Women is right up my alley!

FabFitFun 2018 Fall Box

The FabFitFun magazine always includes such great tips, and this season is no different. This Fall Box was packed with several beauty options, from the Grown Alchemist facial exfoliant to the day cream and cleanser to the Skin&Co. shower gel and the GlamGlow® BUBBLESHEET™ mask. The box partners shared just how much of each product should you be using. {Hint: The exfoliant may be used daily, while the BUBBLESHEET™ should be used as a once-a-week deep cleanse for your skin.}

Have you ever heard of pairing your your tea or coffee with food? Talk about unusual food pairings, but that’s just what Alfred Food and Beverage Director, Jordan Hardin, did to help me figure out what foods to pair the different teas to make my tastebuds do a little happy dance. I’ve never thought to pair hot tea with ice cream, but Hardin says that “the tannic and citrusy notes of earl grey really sing beside a neutral sweet flavor, like vanilla.”

Do you subscribe to FabFitFun? Do you love it as much as I do? Let me know {in the comment section below} what products you love the most out of this Fall Box.

If you don’t subscribe to FFF, what are you waiting for? Just use my special code – PUMPKINSPICE – to get $10 off your first box.

Happy Fall, y’all!

Yours Truly,
Vanessa
