Summer dresses aren’t necessarily just for the summer months. You can layer pieces under and over a summer dress to make it appropriate for Spring or Fall.
For instance, take today’s dress form outfit. It is a summer dress that I bought at a thrift store in Key West, Fla., several years ago.
This Juicy Couture dress is perfect for those hot summer nights, but toss a jacket over your shoulders and you’re ready for those cool Spring or Fall evenings.
I paired it with my Ann Taylor denim jacket and a brown Nine West belt (with a cool silver buckle)! This outfit will definitely be worn when it gets a wee bit warmer in my neck of the woods!
I can wear this outfit with a cool pair of knee high boots, ankle boots, or flat sandals, depending on the season.
