Tonight’s the night!

I will be attending my first writer’s guild meeting. Not only that, but I’ll be joining the writer’s guild! I’ve printed off my membership form and have my dues ready to hand in tonight! This is my “me” thing for the month of January!

I also got in touch with a friend about my volunteering for Random Acts of Flowers. It’s a “non-profit charity whose volunteers collect flowers from weddings, memorial services, florists, special events, grocery stores and churches – and repurpose them into beautiful bouquets for delivery to patients in area hospitals, nursing homes and hospice care centers.”

Now it’s your turn. I encourage everyone who reads this post to do some random acts of kindness at some point during this year. “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” (Aesop)

To quote Mother Teresa, “To show great love for God and our neighbor we need not do great things. It is how much love we put in the doing that makes our offering something beautiful to God.”
