30 Before 30

In my case, it would be “50 Before 50”, since I’m technically out of my 30s. Just typing that fact has made me feel officially OLD! I am up for some suggestions for 20 more things to do before I turn 50, so please send your suggestions to me! Still, this list is well-rounded and something I’m passing on to my three nieces in hopes that they will explore the world and live the life that I wish I had had the courage to live. Just Imagine…

Photo Credit: The Things We Say Can you imagine this scenario? This, to me, means that life is precious and that we should live life to the fullest. In a day and age when we are running around, doing this and doing that, going here and going there, we rarely take the time “stop and smell the roses.” What do you do with the 86,400 seconds you have been given every day? A Thanksgiving Prayer For My Family and Friends…

There was a time when I was more “religious” than I am today; however, that does not change the fact that I am still a Christian. In honor of Thanksgiving and in light of the recent events in my life (with the passing of my 88-year-old grandpa from colon cancer), I have decided to send up a prayer for my family and friends. Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heavy, and somewhat broken, heart. Heavy because of the anxiety and fears I keep bundled up inside, and broken-hearted because right now, I am missing both of my […]
